S Lucio's latest recorded work is unapologetically slow, minimal, & nuanced in a world that moves too fast for even the most well-adjusted. She combines her own unique electric bass drone techniques with white noise, wordless vocalizations and breath noises, subharmonic frequencies, & sound manipulation to create this improvised work at a pace that's therapeutic for her and good for you. On the second track of this offering, S Lucio shows a more aggressive side to her bass drone techniques while staying true to her theme of a dark ambient minimal atmosphere and invites her musical partner & friend Austin Davis into this piece to improvise a storm of psychedelic electronic percussion techniques that punctuate the collage of emotions her improvised drones stir up like in a way that says, "trip out, man," but also, "Take That."
